Commencing at the historic Dunedin Railway Station, the Taieri Gorge Railway is New Zealand's longest tourist railway.

Following the Taieri River, the railway snakes its way for more than 60 kilometers, through ten tunnels and over century old viaducts, including the southern hemisphere's largest wrought iron structure.
