Skyline Gondola and Optional Luge Ride

The Skyline Gondola takes you high above Rotorua to the top of Mt Ngongotaha where you will enjoy stunning views of the surrounding region.

It's a very relaxing way to pass a few hours and the trip up and down is very calm.

Once you reach the summit you can sample a variety of optional activities including restaurant, gallery, winery and gift shop.

Our favorite activity though is the luge.

Choose from three different tracks, then hop on to your cart for a thrilling ride down the hillside. These are great fun and the three tracks allow you to choose your level of difficulty.

The luge is suitable for all ages and instruction is given for first timers.

Rotorua's Champagne Pools

The colored Champagne Pools are stunning, and we will never forget the sight of a geyser erupting right in front of us.

Boiling hot mud pools pop and spit, and steam fizzes into the air from the hot springs. It all makes you realize just what an amazing place this is.
