What a place!

Hi,

we just returned from a week in Queenstown. What an amazing place. It was cold, as you would expect at this time of the year, but there were roaring log fires in the pubs, and great meals.

We took the trip on the Skyline Gondola and were blown away by the views. You must do this if you go there.

Also took a guided bus trip to Milford Sound. It was a long day, but the scenery was unbelievable and Milford Sound lived up to all the hype.

We stayed at Peppers Beacon on the lakefront, which was a good choice as it's a short level walk to town. The lake view room was clean and comfortable.

We rate Queenstown a "must see" if you are going to New Zealand and can't wait to go back there,
